XPR-IT: Angle Technology Audit – 2005-2007:

The purpose of this project was to design and develop a KMS for XPR-IT. My role in this project was project management: leading a team of consultants from the client side to develop and model XPR-IT's business scenarios, knowledge-work behaviour and knowledge network.

 

Intaract: – 2004-2006:

Angle Technology Audit - The purpose of this project was to conduct a technology audit for Intaract project management infrastructure. My role in this project was project management: leading a team of consultants from the client side to analyse their business case.

LDA Connect Project - The purpose of this project is to develop their KMS and an innovative e-marketing model for their customers. My role was to manage the project to analyse, design and develop a prototype.

 

UNDP: e-Government for the Ministry of Administrative Development (MOAD) Civil Service public portal – 2002-2003:

The purpose of this project was to promote the civil services of the Ministry of State for Administrative Development (MOAD) and to raise citizens’ awareness. My role in this project – as the UNDP consultant – was to prepare the business plan and TOR for developing the ministry’s e-government portal providing citizens and businesses with different civil services using Internet technology.

 

The Central Bank of Egypt: Automation of the Business Intelligence Unit – 2001:

The purpose of this project was to design the automated system for the Business Intelligence unit of the central bank of Egypt (CBE). This includes receiving all input data from different banks and ministries, analysing the data using Decision Support Systems (DSS), and re-transmitting the data through different media for the use of the bank and different businesses and investors. My role in this project was the analysis of processes at the Business Intelligence unit and the design of an automated system of its processes using state of the art technologies.

 

Ezz Industries: Business Integration and Corporate Portal – 2000:

The purpose of this project was to integrate the infrastructure for Ezz Industries (the leading steel and ceramics manufacturers in Egypt) including different platforms and applications to have a unified platform for all its companies and stakeholders. My part in this project was the strategic planning for Ezz Industries corporate portal, Intranet and Extranet, in a way that ensures integration of the different companies of the group.

 

L’Ecole Oasis de Maadi: Management Information System – 2000:

The purpose of this project was to transform l’ecole Oasis into a smart school. This includes building the school intranet to create a Management Information System (MIS) for school administration including HR, maintenance, purchase and stock systems. The project was extended integrating all the school services and information online in a way that provides communication channels among students, parents, teachers and school administration. My part in this project was the project management for the design and development of the school MIS.

 

Gateway Africa: Matchmaking Business Portal for Import/Export in Africa – 2000:

The purpose of this project was to build an e-commerce portal for business import and export between African countries and the rest of the world. My role in this project was to design the business model

 

The Job Masters: Human Resource and Recruitment Services – 1999:

The purpose of this project was to build an e-marketplace for recruitment in Egypt and the region in order to provide businesses and users with a full human resource management and development system including matchmaking, evaluation and training. My role in this project was to design the human resources business model for the Job Masters using state of the art Information and Communication Technologies

 

The 36th IAA World Congress: Sunlight Passage to the 21st Century: multi-way communication system for the conference – 1998:

In a crisis management meeting of the high committee of the 36th International Advertising Association World Congress, I introduced the idea for a remote multi-way conferencing and communication system. My role was the design and management of the “Interactive Media and Communication Programme”: integrating different techniques for the first time for communication between speakers, delegates and participants from all over the world through video conferencing. I also succeeded to market the project to sponsors among leading Information and Communication Technology companies in the world such as Microsoft, Compaq and Bay Networks for the total cost of the project that reached $1.2 Million.
